Crest Sand Porcelain paving is cream in colour with elegant white veining and is a high quality Italian stone effect porcelain.Exceptionally durable and low maintenanceLike all our Contempo porcelain tiles, this paving is especially designed for outdoor use; it is 20mm thick, and has high resistance to breaking load and great slip-resistance. The slabs are produced by pressing and vitrifying (fusing into a single material) natural raw materials (sand, quartz, feldspars, kaolin, clays and natural colourants). Because it is fired at temperatures above 1230°C, the porcelain is extremely strong and hard-wearing with practically no water absorption at all. This means when you choose Contempo porcelain, you’ll get a paving slab that is:Slip resistant surface (R11)Low maintenance and easy to clean including with a jet washFrost and fade resistantFull colour-bodiedFully rectified to ensure uniform size and squarenessResistant to stains and mildewEasy to layAlso available as an internal tileIf you are looking to create a seamless space from inside your home to your garden, we can supply thinner floor tiles for internal use. These 9mm internal tiles are slightly smoother than their 20mm thick equivalent flagstones, which are a little more textured for grip as they are designed for external use. However for this range Intenal tiles are not availble in the same 900x600mm size format. If overall dimension is critical, check with our sales team to confirm the size we currently have in stock. The size, colour and texture of porcelain may vary slightly between production batches. We therefore recommend that you purchase what you need for your project at the same time if possible. You can also keep a record of the ‘batch number’ in case you need to order more in future.
