Robitussin Chesty Cough is available over-the-counter in liquid, tablet, and capsule forms. The recommended dosage for adults and children 12 years and older is 20 mL every 4 hours, up to 8 doses per day. Children 6 to 11 years old should take 10 mL every 4 hours, up to 6 doses per day. Children under 6 years old should not take Robitussin Chesty Cough without talking to a doctor.
